One of the most important things in the world is beauty, but the premise of beauty can never be objective. Thus that's where the sentence that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder came through. I've always found that the most "beautiful" and captivating part of a person's physical appearance are their eyes. In this case although it might be somber or dark, there is a beauty and fear in the darkness as the unknown is still yet unknown.

How does PLAY help us connect with our land? "Beaver Toy Box" is an imagined children's toy collection that invites its users to be curious about land through the tactile and visual senses. Apart from the two soil cubes that come from Canada's arctic, all of the objects in the toy collection were found in various landscapes throughout southern Ontario. These objects were curated and arranged to become a "toy box", offering a nostalgic path to return to the land and our own curiosity.
