Christine Tokevich
Born and raised in the Royal City / New Westminster, BC.I developed a love for art the moment I got my hands on finger paints in kindergarten. As time passed under the guidance of wonderful, imaginative, and free spirited art teachers my love for painting and my skills as an artist began to take shape.
I’d like to say I’m mostly a self-taught artist who isn’t afraid to play around with different mediums and styles. As well who pushes herself to make every new painting better than the last one. The best way to describe my art is abstract/folk done mostly in acrylics and watercolor.
You can find my art and myself mostly around the City of New Westminster as I love taking part in local market and community events.
Furthermore; I am a member of the New West Artist and participated in community gallery shows at the Anvil Center, club house coworking space at river market , The gallery at Queen's Park and Shadbolt Centre For The Arts.
My art is a reflection of my creative spirit and love of bright bold colors.
