I spent a year in New Zealand, and my iPhone was the only camera I carried. Mostly I sent the pictures home so my family could see what I was seeing.\r
\r
Then I moved to Canada, and the hobby grew along with me. In 2017 I bought my first real camera. It’s the same one I use today, because I’ve never cared much about having the newest gear. I just like going out, whether it’s a forest trail or a random street downtown, and taking pictures of whatever catches my eye.\r
\r
Photography is my passion and my way of slowing down. It doesn’t matter much where I am. What I’m trying to catch is the atmosphere, the way I feel and see the world around me. When I go back through my photos, it’s like opening a little memory box.\r
\r
I never imagined that one day my photos could hang in someone’s home or office, far from where I took them, and make people feel something. That idea makes me really happy.
