The artwork was created after an adventure to the Johnston Canyon in Banff. Encountering the power in the flow of the waterfalls and the lush forestry amongst the canyon rocks I came upon the beauty in the balance between the strength and fragility of nature. The landscapes overwhelming cool spring atmosphere reaffirmed my appreciation for how impactful a natural landscape can affect ones' state of mind. My hope was to recreate the impact in order to share and perhaps inspire your own adventure.
