Striking the balance between careful planning and improvisation, Eric’s unconventionally collaged art comes into being through a labor-intensive process of\r\u003cbr\u003eassembling and layering various colored fibers, metal foils, and glass tile,  thoughtfully selected for the way they connect to his subjects.  \r\u003cbr\u003eEric’s mixed media pieces have won many distinguished artist award and has been exhibited in Montreal, Toronto, Whistler, and Vancouver. The fractured Star of David, the broken lines, and the dripping textures mirror my sense of dissonance—the feeling of watching something I love break apart.\r\u003cbr\u003eThe strings hanging from the canvas echo the tzitzit of a Jewish prayer shawl—threads of faith and tradition, now frayed, untethered. At times, it feels as if I, too, am dissolving—my history, my belonging, my certainty slipping away.\r\u003cbr\u003eAnd yet, the gold persists. Even in the chaos, something precious remains.
