My paintings of wildlife, landscapes and forest canopies has allowed for my art to be represented across Canada and the United States.
Growing up in Alberta Canada my love for art began as a young girl spending countless hours drawing and creating. Not until my late twenties did I answer the yearning inside me to explore my creativity once again. Now nearly two decades later my work has evolved immensely. In my professional art career I have explored many techniques, the one that has made the boldest stroke is my twist on pointillism. Thousands of dots embellish each work of art. My paintings can have anywhere from 10 000 to 100 000 dots of paint delicately mapped out on the canvas. Every custom painting takes time, passion and dedication. The balance of vibrant hues and various textures enables each joyful piece to come alive.

"The creative process is a form of meditation for me, the precise application of the dots allows me to escape into my art. Painting has helped me through some of life’s most challenging seasons and has greatly illuminated it's beautiful moments”

Spread A Little Love 48" x 48" acrylic on canvas is my newest painting that I have created in my Koi fish series. Koi fish have intrigued and inspired for centuries. They have been called "swimming Flowers" and "living jewels for their physical beauty. Some of the symbolism associated with koi fish are : tenacity, abundance, luck, courage, family strength and transformation. I am inspired to paint these beautifully multicoloured fish for those reasons and 6 of them because it has always been my lucky number. I had the idea to paint the koi swimming in the shape of a heart to remind us to return to love.

Finding balance within and embracing both the light and the dark. Duality is adorned with thousands of tiny raised dots of acrylic paint all the way up the trunk and extending to the branches. I enjoyed every minute of creating this powerful piece.
