I began painting as a teen and enjoyed some small success. I define this as having sold work to people to whom I was not related. I left painting behind when I became involved in the world of film and television. I spent close to thirty years as an actor and writer, with even smaller success. I define this as having often being cast as the guy standing behind the guy standing behind the star. Still, it was an interesting way in which to grow older, albeit not any bit wiser. I define this as once again trying to make a living as an artist. This time around, the work I do is very different from that which I did. Now I do what is loosely defined as Natural Media Digital Abstract Expressionism. I say “loosely” because the art world still isn’t quite sure what to make of Digital Artists and their work.
