She received her formal art education at the University of Lethbridge, AB. She continues to work from her studio in Almonte, Ontario.  She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions including several online exhibitions with John B Aird Gallery. As daylight lengthened, the sun reaching higher in the sky, a new energy, a new vision emerged. I strove for simpler, cleaner compositions, using a vibrant colour palette. Eliminate unnecessary details, find the essence, the soul of this unique northern landscape. Tapping into my visceral feelings, as defined, are those deep-rooted sensations that are difficult to control or ignore and arise purely from the depths of our being, the painting takes shape.
