Through layered surfaces, mark making and restrained color, I’m interested in how small shifts and spaces between forms can evoke calm, rhythm, and\/or quiet tension. My process allows elements to come together through intuition rather than planning, allowing the painting to evolve through layers, erasing, and reworking.
