Lori Fonger
Lori Fonger is a self-taught artist from Etobicoke, Ontario. In 2019, after a long, successful career in the financial services sector, she decided to pursue art full time. In 2021, her work was on display at the Riverdale ArtWalk Show, the Big Holiday Smalls Show at the Leslie Grove Gallery and the Square Foot Show at the Westland Gallery in London, Ontario. Her work can now be found in private collections in Canada and the US.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I specialize in abstract art incorporating geometric designs within monochromatic colour schemes. Using brushes, palette knives as well as non-traditional tools, I create art full of texture and patterns. The distinct texture I create allows the light to bounce off the artwork generating depth and movement.
