I am a Toronto based artist but have lived in many places including Boston, Washington DC, and Chicago. I studied art in college at the University of Wisconsin. I took a several year hiatus from painting to work as a women's health advocate and lawyer. I am thrilled to be painting again!
I am a member of the North Toronto Group of Artists and the Lawrence Park Arts Collective. I have exhibited throughout Toronto including at Arta Gallery, the Yonge and Eglinton Centre, Twist Gallery, Keller Williams Portfolio, and as part of the Young and Lawrence Village Art Walk. I recently had a solo show at the Niagara Pumphouse Gallery in Niagara on the Lake.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
My paintings are inspired by travel, light, color, my children, and our two dogs. I hope my paintings convey the feelings I experienced in the moments that I am trying to capture.
