ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I started making art by following acrylic painting tutorials a few years ago and now I'm sharing my work with a wider audience.

I prefer to experiment with different media and subject matter. You'll most likely find abstract paintings of animals, plants and architecture in my shop, but I've also been known to create fun collages and ethereal botanical cyanotypes.

Did you know that sperm whales sleep vertically?
I kept this in mind while making this piece so it can be hung either vertically or horizontally, depending on your wall space and preferences.

Made entirely with a pallet knife, this painting has a lot of texture. An abstract blue, grey and white ocean with hints of aqua green surrounds a large grey whale.

My paintings are made using only high quality materials. This painting includes a professional grade canvas, professional grade acrylic paint and varnish.

This mixed media drawing is a fantasy park constructed from elements resembling watch movement parts. As the story goes, Clockwise Park was intended to be an interactive space on a dry lakebed where people could play or relax. Recently abandoned when the owner ran out of construction funds, the park’s potential was never realized. The partially completed structure has now been taken over by flora, fauna and adventure seekers alike.

Printed on high quality cold press paper, this print of the original mixed media drawing includes a minimalist, black wooden frame with lightweight glass and a charcoal grey mat.
