ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I had a typical Generation X upbringing. Lots of solo time to explore and do whatever I wanted, which at the time was mostly draw and watch TV. Like the Donnie and Marie Show, which I never missed on Friday nights, I'm a little bit country - which is evident in the landscapes, and a little bit rock'n'roll, which comes out in the slightly darker and more experimental mixed media work.

While making and selling art is incredibly rewarding, the greatest gift it's given me is the opportunity to turn younger generations on to exploring their creative path.
