Biography October 2024
I am 74 yrs. old and retired since 2012. In 2009 in preparation for my retirement, I started painting. I have no formal (CEGEP/University) training save except for a few courses I took at The Visual Arts Centre in Westmount, Québec. These courses introduced me to the different mediums and techniques.
As I prepared to sell my Book of Business between 2009 and 2012 (Group Insurance Advisor), I used the courses to assist me in understanding and using the various mediums. And from 2013 to 2016 I prepared my first solo show.
I enjoy creating collections by interpreting landscapes. I consider myself to be a landscape artist.
Here are my solo shows:

was held at Gallery 203 in Old Montreal.
2. 2018 - Au-delà des limites/Beyond Boundaries
was held at Gallery 203 in old Montreal
3. 2020 - À pas de géant/Leaps and Bounds
was held at Gallery ERGA in La Petite Patrie, Montreal
4. 2022 - Endogène-Exogène/EndogenousExogenous
was held at Gallery ERGA in La Petite Patrie, Montreal
5. Ataraxia – A state of serene calmness
will be my 5th. The solo show is scheduled for May 2024.
Juried selections and memberships
I have had four juried selections at Stewart Hall Artotheque exhibit in Pointe-Claire, Québec.

I am a member of RAAV.
From the 2021-22 exhibit Form Films (BRAID) Inc. chose The Sound of the Mountain 1 to appear in one of their productions in 2022.

Je n'ai aucune formation formelle (CÉGEP/Université) à l'exception de cours que j'ai suivis au Centre des arts visuels à Westmount, Québec. Alors que je me préparais à vendre mon Book d’Affaires entre 2009 et 2012 (Courtier en assurance collective), j'ai utilisé les cours pour m'aider à comprendre et à utiliser les médiums. Et entre 2013 et 2016, j'étais prêt et j’ai terminé ma première collection et à avoir ma première exposition.
J'aime créer des collections en interprétant des paysages. Je me considère comme un artiste paysagiste.

Generally, 9 in. x 3 in. and on Masonite. Some are framed as they would appear in my show, occurring every 2 years. My next show is in 2026. When they are framed they are framed with glass and floating.
