Susan Shao

Born in Beijing and raised in Canada, Susan has developed a keen interest in Fine Arts since she was a little girl. Susan graduated from University of Waterloo with a Major in Computer Science and a Minor in Fine Arts, specializing in Studio Art. She has also taken a course "Conversations from the Toronto Art World" from University of Toronto.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I believe Art should make you feel something. Wether it's sketches or paintings, I always try to convey a sense of emotion through my Artwork. My inspiration comes from studying human expression from past and current and many of my work attempt to capture expressive gaze.
