Acrylic on canvas with gloss finish.
18x18"
This black and white abstract acrylic pour painting beautifully mirrors the essence of the yin and yang symbol. Like the symbol's interlocking halves, it balances the contrasting forces of light and dark, chaos and calm, and complexity and simplicity. The swirling patterns and seamless transitions in the painting evoke the perpetual dance of opposites, reminding us that harmony and equilibrium can be found within the unity of contrasting elements.
Arthur is a multidisciplinary artist known for his vibrant and dynamic artworks. Born and raised in Calgary, AB, with a Polish/Ukrainian background, he discovered his passion for art at an early age. His work often explores the themes of colourful abstraction, attempting to capture the energy of the fleeting moment in whatever medium he works in. Most commonly, Arthur works with acrylic paint on canvas, manipulating the movement of paint through various techniques to create intricate and vibrant forms of art. He believes that art is a fluid form of expression, which he tries to capture in his art brand, Floeism.
