ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I am a Toronto based multidisciplinary artist working in painting, sculpture, installation and ephemeral art. Our world is rapidly changing. My work addresses personal, social, and environment issues associated with this change.
My paintings combine reality and imagination, focusing on people and behaviour. Inspiration emerges in my artistic creation through moments of connection and love. My practice uses studio models for figurative and semi-abstract paintings to examine human relationships and social interactions. My voice is expressed through vibrant colours, confident brushstrokes, and drawing.

The land and mountains displayed mesmerizing patterns and textures. The adaptation of cacti and yucca to withstand the extreme conditions left strong impressions of resilience on me. I was struck by the white giant stalks of yucca blossoms and cacti.
