Home in my body is being outside and hearing the birds singing, seeing butterflies flutter by, and dragonflies darting through the sky. My eyes collect the landscapes joyful saturated colors so I can share them in drawings, paintings and soft sculptures. I grow flowers for pollinators especially butterflies and hummingbirds. Gardening is part of my art practice because I see every act of caring for the natural world as mingling with our forgotten secrets.
