Jacquelyn Sloane Siklos studied at the University of Toronto, receiving a B.A. in fine art and art history, and graduated in Graphic Design and Illustration from the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) (1995-1998).
Jacquelyn worked as a graphic designer for a number of years at a Toronto design firm, Gottschalk + Ash (G+A). After leaving G+A, in 2000, she continued to work as a freelance graphic designer before returning to a full-time art practice in 2006.
She works in photography and painting. Her photographs and paintings share a love of colour, often exploring themes of colour and motion.
She has exhibited her work at galleries and alternative spaces in Toronto, and at several juried exhibitions.
She has received several ‘Editors’ pick awards from Minted, an internationally recognized online seller of paper goods and artwork from independent artists around the world. One of her images is also available through Pottery Barn Teen.
