My first overnight stop was in Dodge City, Kansas.  Not much to talk about here as it was a hot dusty day, and I just wanted to rest.  I chose to head out before dawn as I was dealing with long drives on back country roads in the farm\/cattle region that can bring a lot of slow traffic.
