What stayed with me was the softness of the experience, seeing Black women enjoying nature, interacting with horses, and simply existing in a space designed for leisure.\r\u003cbr\u003e\r\u003cbr\u003eThe name combines my Yoruba heritage with the name Tara, bringing together two distinct but connected identities: African and Black American.\r\u003cbr\u003e\r\u003cbr\u003eI wanted the painting to reflect that intersection while capturing the quiet elegance of the experience. There is something beautiful about seeing Black women enjoying animals, the outdoors, and moments of ease.\r\u003cbr\u003e\r\u003cbr\u003eI often choose names for my paintings that connect personal experiences with cultural references.
