One day, I was struck by the formal analogy between these organic lines, despite the vast difference in scale and context. This unexpected visual parallel prompted me to use it as a reminder of the belonging of humanity to the natural world, yet emphasizing how  human presence leaves an indelible mark on the environment —even on creatures as immense and majestic as cetaceans.\r\u003cbr\u003e\r\u003cbr\u003eThis is why I chose to magnify the fingerprints, rendering them monumental, almost oppressive, to underscore this disproportionate impact of humankind on the planet. The fingerprints, typically symbols of identity and individuality, here take on another, they are nameless obliteration and destructive power.\r\u003cbr\u003e\r\u003cbr\u003eThe decision to divide the square format into six equal rectangles was a deliberate structural choice, inspired by the visual language of comics. This sequential framework allows me to introduce the element of time into the work, suggesting progression, transformation, or even erosion. I've long been fascinated by the narrative potential of rhythmic, repeated imagery—how the eye moves across the frame, how subtle shifts from one panel to the next can create a sense of continuity or disruption.
