My logo is not printed on the canvas; I signed the back of the piece.\r
\r
This is the latest addition to my “Whoosh” series – the series I didn’t know I was creating when I took what I thought was the coolest photo “Whoosh on the Side.” After creating “Whoosh on the Other Side” a year later, I still wasn’t setting out to create a series despite having a vision for this third image. Buuuut, when I took this pic and then saw it on my camera screen the image pretty much named itself “Whoosh Through the Trees.” \r
\r
It’s neat to watch the LRT zip through the trees on its elevated track, and of course, with the Leg (Legislative Building) along with other buildings and the High Level Bridge featured in the pic, it’s super-cool to capture a literal snapshot depicting aspects of Edmonton’s evolution.\r
\r
This image was recently included in my art exhibit “Bridging Light and Time” at CAVA (Centre d’Arts Visuels de l’Alberta) in Edmonton. The colours totally pop on canvas!
