Alex's art explores emotions through a combination of experiential abstraction and representational depictions of emotional landscapes such as fragility, desire, hope, vulnerability, suffering and joy. Expressed through optical cues such as colour and depth of field, and drawing on inspiration from poetry and anthropomorphism, every piece is a journey of discovery, chance encounters and a search for clues that reveal a path forward.
