Inji Elnadi is an Egyptian-Canadian Artist living in Toronto. She grew up in a creative family that valued Art, Literature, History, Religion and the Sciences. Her father was a master visionary Artist, gifted in visual arts, architecture, interior and furniture design. As a child, she would peer up on her toes to reach his drafting table and watch his hands form magical lines, shapes and bursts of colour onto the canvas and wished she could do the same. Her mother studied interior design and was the Manager of the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in Cairo before their family immigrated to Toronto.
Inji went on to obtain an Honours, Double BA Degree in Mass Communication and Journalism at York University and a Diploma in Graphic and Web Design at the Canadian Business College in Toronto. She started her professional career in the Media, Film and Television industries and then became a Talent Manager. Currently an IT Resource Manager for a dynamic tech agency, she balances her efforts between technology and art.
She has worked on visual art, web, marketing and creative design projects for clients such as Half Moon Resort in Montego Bay, Google Doodles MENA Region, Perfect Puppies Television, Expedia, ReMax Canada, Onboard Air France Magazine, Honda Indy 500, Viso YouTube Network, Broadband TV, Arrivedo, Desio Lens, The Waterfront Business Improvement Area, celebrities and singers.
Most of my work is utterly incomprehensible and therefore full of deep significance. ;)
