I am an abstract artist living and working in Los Angeles, California. My art studio is literally inside my garage which I have renamed ”the lab”. There, I immerse myself in thought, prayer, and contemplation. Inspired by my husband, music, love of color and gut emotion; my art reflects personal moments in my life albeit a day in my garden, the death of loved ones, the return home of a son, and at times a distraction from a devasting migraine. I find my greatest pleasure releasing paint, multiple colors at a time allowing imagination to lead.

FLOW
When expression arises from the innermost part of the consciousness, the relativity of time slows down, and a sense of integration between mind, body, and soul activates a healing effect -- doing and being effortlessly intertwined. This psychological phenomena speaks to the deep yearning to be arrested by an external power that is accessing the will and emotions. All the hidden doors are unlocked and the inner life is exposed at its most raw, fragile, cathartic. All that was concealed can be held and examined with acceptance -- treasured or released.
