Andy Stattmiller is a painter based in the Mission District of San Francisco. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, he has been drawing from an early age. He earned his BFA in Illustration from the Columbus College of Art and Design.
His work is influenced by old cartoons, comic books, pop culture, album covers, skateboard graphics, and the animations of Monty Python, blending playful visuals with layered, surreal compositions.
In 2019, he began his ongoing painting series Psychoscape, an abstract, cartoonish landscape built from dynamic shapes and characters. By limiting each piece to four colors, the series uses constraint to amplify composition and visual rhythm.
With over two decades of experience, Andy has worked with clients ranging from independent brands to major companies, and his work has been exhibited in galleries across the United States.
