Autumn Smith
Mishiikenh Kwe (Turtle woman, Autumn Smith) is an Anishinaabe woodland artist from the caribou clan, and a member of Magnetawan First Nation where she lives now. Autumn’s research based practice revolves mainly around using art as a way to learn, remember and share knowledge with others. Her main inspirations are stories passed on from her grandmother and moments taken directly from her own lived experience as an Anishinaabe Kwe.
