I am a photographer, creative producer, writer, and non-profit worker based in Toronto, Canada.
The guiding principle of my practice is to create and cultivate art and life that sees and shares alternative perspectives on the world; perspectives often overlooked due to their marginality, smallness, hiddenness.
For me photography is the art of noticing. Focusing on and sharing these pictures tells a story about why I love this medium: it keeps one present, seeing, seeking, and in a constant state of awe, wonder, and what-will-I-experience-next.
Photography is also an exercise in connectivity, which also animates all other areas of my practice. It is a way to explore the connections between people and community, between the built and natural environments, and between object and subject, and perception and reality.
