Catherine Brassard
I have been a board member of an the White Water Artist Run Gallery, the Art on Main Artists' Collective, and The Parkway Artists' Guild. Having cancer between my heart and lungs in 1988 meant surviving the cure while trying to create and encourage art in whichever community I lived. I create when I can and encourage others always.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
Failing health required us to move away from the family cottage and the somberness of this piece reflects the sadness of that event. But after the end of summer, spring arrives again.
