I am a retired woman of a certain age.
I have been involved in the art world for many years.
I studied in Trois-Rivieres in Les Arts plastiques.
After raising two children, I got back into painting. My preferred medium is oil.
Along the way, I have participated in several solo, duo and group shows.
Some of my teachers include: Ghulam Musfafa, Carole Bonneau, Raynald Murphy, Max Steibel, Chui Wang.
I have been a member of the St-Laurent Artists' Assoc. for over twenty years.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I paint mostly in oil but sometimes with acrylics.
My subjects include portraits, landscapes, abstracts, still-lifes.
My style is, in general, impressionism. But I also like the linear, flat and stylized way of painting.

This painting is a group of elements, some abstract, some recognizable. A wave is quite evident, therefore the title.
It is in colorful oils with possibly an encroaching night over a city skyline.
