Edward Chen is a contemporary artist based in San Francisco. A Harvard graduate and former investor in Japan, he draws inspiration from his travels and experiences abroad. His work has evolved from delicate paper crane compositions, inspired by Japanese culture, to landscape-inspired series reflecting European journeys — all creating contemporary art for serene spaces.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

Chen’s inaugural series, "Taking Flight," features 3D paper cranes as symbols of hope and healing. His most recent "Contours Collection" draws on the Alps and European coastlines, exploring landscape silhouettes in soothing, organic tones. Across all works, he seeks to create art that brings calm, beauty, and thoughtful design into living spaces.
