A contemporary abstract artist based in Kingston, Ontario whose main medium is painting with oil and sometimes acrylic, as well as creating sculptures. She has a strong interest in art, architecture & interior design and has taken numerous online courses as well as dedicated self-study. She has participated in some local shows but mostly has been quietly experimenting whenever possible. Recently retired from a university she can now roll up her sleeves and really dig into her life's passion to create more art!

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I create vibrant abstract expressionist paintings that channel emotional storytelling through colour, texture and brushstrokes. I believe the desire to create is in all of us, as demonstrated by the earliest humans painting in caves. It is one way of saying "I was here". For me, getting lost in the moment while creating art is joyful & spiritual.
