Florian Innerkofler was born in Innsbruck, Austria, to a Dutch mother and an Austrian father. He graduated from Higher School of Architecture in Innsbruck, during which period he began photography. Florian moved to Vienna after graduating with cum laude from the State School of Photography.
He assisted renowned photographer Andreas H. Bitesnich for multiple years and also worked with Hollywood photographer Greg Gorman.
Working as a commercial photographer takes Florian around the Globe, on assignments he travels from New York City to Tokyo, from Europe to China and from the Arctic Circle to the most beautiful beaches in the World.
Florian works for magazines and clients as diverse as Vogue Beauty, Glamour, Marie Claire, L`Orèal Paris, Rimmel London, ALCAR, AEZ wheels, Silhouette glasses and Universal Music, to only name a few.
Florian also established himself in the Fine Art scene with his Limited edition Fine Art prints. His show GLOBUS, Florian Innerkofler’s premier Toronto exhibition showcased a curated collection of his photographs captured through his lens while travelling around the world.
Recently his Fine art works were featured in the Globe and Mail style section.
His SHAPED MOMENTS solo exhibit, a personal journey through his photographic works was on display in 2020 at Berenson Fine Art gallery in Toronto.
Florians works can be found in collectors homes across the world.
After living in New York City for over 8 years Florian is now based in Toronto where he lives together with his wife Emily and their daughters Stella Jade and Mica Liv.
