Francisco Tapia, aka Tapz, is a Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary artist specializing in ceramic sculpture and soulful paintings, also known as “Feel Paintings,” created with aerosol and acrylic paint. His work is an intimate dance of color, evoking a wide range of emotions. Fast, confident marks lay the foundation for capturing the raw energy of the moment.

Tapz’s practice seeks spiritual awareness through mindful color theory and harmonized, intermingling compositions. He recently participated in an exhibition titled Basta at the Bendix Building during LA Art Week 2026, showcasing a collection of 31 paintings and sculptural pieces. His work has been shown in galleries in Los Angeles and Dallas and has sold across the United States, with dedicated collectors who continue to engage deeply with his evolving visual language.
