Gail Salhani
British born Gail Salhani was surrounded by art at an early age, both her parents are accomplished artists themselves. Gail pursued art in school gaining a National Diploma in 3D design in the Uk. She married a Canadian in 2002 and moved to Ontario. Gail loves to create in many different mediums. She has helped construct various unique dance costumes and props, she has additionally designed and painted many murals in York region schools. She also enjoys, knitting, crocheting and sewing. Her main painting style is in pastel landscapes and also fine ink drawings. She takes her inspiration from the area in which she lives, and is passionate about nature. Gail is currently a member of the Newmarket group of artists. Her phone is always full of future possible paintings, and she pursues art in the spaces between raising a family and working.
