A self-taught and ever-curious achromatic abstractionist.
As a public creative, she prefers to go by the alternative moniker, GoldWing. An emerging artist hailing from the Greater Toronto Area, she has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and an insatiable curiosity and appreciation for the complexities of the human mind and experience. Employing music as the means by which she processes thoughts, emotions, moments, and ideas, 'GoldWing' came to be when she started responding and capturing her contemplations and experiences in snapshot moments of time, with brush and paint to canvas.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
While she looks forward to exploring the potential of incorporating other mediums in the future, she is currently dedicated to the exploration and mastery of acrylics. Typically, she works on canvas or wood supports, though she has also been known to experiment on and bring new life to found objects.
Her chromatic signature is almost exclusively an achromatic one—with flashes of gold being the exception, of course.
