A self-taught and ever-curious achromatic abstractionist hailing from the Greater Toronto Area who decided to try her wings out during the dark days of the Covid-19 pandemic. As a public creative, she goes by the alternative moniker, GoldWing. 'GoldWing' came to be when she started intuitively capturing her experiences of music, conversation, and ambience with brush and acrylic paint to canvas.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

While she dabbles in other art forms like poetry and music, she is currently dedicated to the exploration and mastery of acrylics. Typically, she works on canvas or wood supports, though she has also been known to experiment on and bring new life to found objects.
Her chromatic signature is almost exclusively an achromatic one—with glints and flashes of gold being the exception, of course.
