Haisha Shahalimi is a multidisciplinary artist whose avant-garde work explores movement, drama, and curiosity through texture, dimension, and contrast. Working primarily with clay and plaster, she creates singular, deeply personal pieces that embody her concept of “couture art.” Her multicultural experiences and involvement with Canada’s National Arts Centre have enriched her artistic perspective. Since embracing large-scale creation in 2021, Shahalimi’s sculptures and mixed-media works have been exhibited and sold, with appearances at the Museum of Surrey, True Colour Art Gallery, Gallery George and Art Vancouver.
