ARTIST’S STATEMENT
Through my work, I aim to create bold, immersive art that bridges culture, identity, and lived experience. Each mural or canvas becomes a reflection of my personal journey—from navigating life as a Black artist in Canada to embracing my Caribbean roots and former career as a professional athlete.
My art often merges realism with surreal or symbolic elements to evoke emotion, spark dialogue, and reclaim space for stories that go untold. I believe public art has the power to transform not just walls—but communities. Whether I’m painting for a transit tunnel, a community center, or a gallery room, I bring a raw, honest energy to everything I create.
Art is how I speak truth, build connection, and inspire the next generation to believe in their own voice—even when the world tells them not to.
