James has never stopped creating since a young age. Self taught artist, James studied Photojournalism at Loyalist college, later realizing visual art was his calling. James has appeared in many group and solo shows in Toronto most recently at Atelier Next Door, an exciting new gallery on Dundas West.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I absorb the city everyday, the textures, colours and contrasts. My work is minimally planned and created in bursts of effort. Urban figures and landscapes grow on the canvas with streaks of colour and varied line work.
