Jessica Law
Jessica Law - AquaArtist
I, an enthusiast of modern water ink paintings, am an AquaArtist who draw heavy inspiration from the artistic creativity of the French. Having spent two years in the heart of France, I often immerse myself in my memories of Parisian architecture, art, and culture to further my own artistic development.
I am a novel abstract expressionist artist who distinguish myself in the modern water ink community by painting vivid colours with extensive shades of ink. Combined with unique composition skills that I utilize in my paintings, my works tend to touch the minds of those who see it, and evoke feelings of awe, spirituality, and connection.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
AquaArtist ‘s inspiration
My main muse in the art I make is water itself, a fascination which comes from its versatility: the unique shapes, colours, and forms it can take compel me to continue creating, connecting me to my audience and inspiring them with every illustration I make.
I also utilize my strong sense of colour, ink and dynamic composition to express my most joyful moments at the canvas and share my thoughts and feelings with my audience. When composing a piece of art, I focus on bringing out the positive energy that my everyday life makes me feel, aiming to bring the same joy to every viewer who comes across my works.
From modern water ink paintings to acrylic on canvas, my choice of medium tends to vary—though the type of media I am drawn to the most would have to be mixed media on canvas. In my artworks, I sometimes blend 3D effects onto the paintings—traditional methods merging with modern technology: an innovative fusion I bring to life in the modern water ink community.
Jessica Law AquaArtist Statement/Vision
I believe that any form in expression of emotion is called art and I would recollect my creative inspiration comes from how to highlight the superior potential of human beings, so that we can surpass artificial intelligence, show positive energy, let the audience feel and experience the beauty of life, and enjoy a rich and positive life – to affect the soul; to lift spirit and to free feelings.
