Jeweliyana Reece is a multidisciplinary artist. Her award winning art can be found in private collections around the globe. For years she was known for paintings created completely out of glass but behind the scenes she was slowly honing and refining another passion - acrylic painting. In 2022 she had her first solo show featuring both. She continues to teach glass from her home studio in Calgary but her main artistic focus is now on painting.

'Joy is in the juicy details'. Rarely do I make it through a walk or bike ride without stopping to snap a reference photo. It's the little things, the underdogs of a scene that often catch my eye. The detail of bark on tree, the tiny green buds poking through a dry and withered landscape. Little clovered flowers at your feet going unnoticed on the side of the road. Miracles truly are unfolding all around us. Bold color, depth and texture are the tools I use to create artwork intended to share some of life's juicy details with you.
