My work study the complex intersectionality on evolving society; exploring the metamorphosis of interdependence that emerge from our intertwinement and create thought-provoking compositions of metaphors that alludes our intricate nature of coexisting in association.

I'm a self taught artist, born in Dominican Republic, I use different mediums on the process of the my compositions, some are conventional and others are forged by my craftsmanship experience. on my early age I worked as automotive body repairer, I went to craft school where I became an artisan working with leather, bones, horns, and carpentry. the process of creating the mixed mediums are a rumination marked by my experience of craftsmanship.

Reeding about the human psyche, and history; traveling to different countries and immigrating to the US have influenced my work profoundly, forging the essences of the theories that embolden my works; I started my creative journey of documenting my thought through my compositions. over the time my work has evolved into a way of expression creating philosophical metaphors of ideas I want to unfold; which start with the conception of one concern I want to communicate, then emerge into a dialogue of continual themes, I enjoy the dialogue that I want people to decipher.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

My work reflects on the complexities of human migration, the driving forces tangled in the process and the bonds we forge as society. I've been always fascinated with how we evolve as community and the many way we communicate. I go over my share experiences coexisting on collective culture, and the socio-economic materialization understood as progress. my maps are a case studies of how modern society interplay, the metamorphosis of landscape on densely populated area. my compositions are a symbolic representations of my observations; somehow a poetic glimpse of alternate reality on human conglomeration, social stratification, the immense range of common interest, beliefs, demand for resources, and the different agreements or rules that make interactivity possible. I am captivated by history and often link the present to the past; I make references to the random affairs that materialize of my journey, documenting my own thoughts, I also writing texts that can include fragments of poems, philosophy work, headlines of the news, excerpts from history books, or sometimes even a line from an advertisement campaigns; I post them al over my compositions creating a puzzled speech, an essay or humorous critic. I Intent to illustrate a distorted of data, occasionally to intrigue people to formulate their own layout from them.
