Kerry Stitt, a resident of Redondo Beach, CA, has been an artist and
photographer for 30 years. She has shown at many galleries in LA
and is a collective member at Resin Gallery in Hermosa. Her photos
and art have won several awards.
Her resin artwork is inspired by her aerial photographs of the sea.
The love of the ocean can be seen in most of her work. She creates
large resin ocean scenes and abstracts. In her newest body of work
she uses wood slabs as her canvas. The natural grain of the wood
shines thru and adds another dimension to her work. Her waves
can also be seen on cutting boards in many stores up and down the
coast.
Her photography has been featured on the cover of El Segundo
Scene Magazine, and in Redondo Beach Lifestyle Magazine,
WestWays Magazine, Easy Reader, Orange Coast Magazine,
Hermosa Newsletter, El Segundo scene, as well as Corona Del Mar
Plaza Magazine. You can also find her photos on Utility boxes in
Redondo Beach and Manhattan Beach and in hotels throughout the
country. Since obtaining her FAA drone certificate in 2016 she
has worked on real estate videos and was hired by The
Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to shoot a drone video to
open up their 2017 summit.
