My name is Kimberly Lafond and I was born in Edmonton. I am retired from my full-time work career as an admin support. Now I delight in artwork as my daily routine. I have always loved making and creating things. I started out by taking various classes and watching others do their wonderful art things. I learn by experimentation and exploration. I found videos I enjoyed, and learned how to use the demonstrated mediums. I even ventured into making videos and sharing them.
I strive to create interesting and unique pieces. I love achieving depth in a painting. I can spend many hours on the background itself, using numerous techniques and layers. I’m always pushing myself to keep exploring and trying new things.
