Levant Karayalim

Levant was born in Istanbul, Turkey and moved to the United States in the
late 1980’s. At age 25, while living in NYC, he apprenticed for Marlene

bodies of works. He also did freelance work for Peter Marino Interiors.
His pieces are inspired by Neo-concrete and Minimalists art movements.
Levant’s creations are made from environmentally friendly and
repurposed materials. His sculptures are made from textiles, fibers,
mirrors, and glass.
His works have been shown at galleries in various cities in Oregon, New
York City, and Seattle. He has done design work for the Portland Art
