Lisa Morrison’s formative years were spent amidst the serene landscapes of rural Nova Scotia, where she cherished moments with her extended family on Cape Breton Island and in Eastern Nova Scotia. During her youth, she embarked on adventures across the globe, immersing herself in diverse cultures and landscapes. It was during these travels that she discovered a profound admiration for the works of impressionist masters like Van Gogh, Monet, and Renoir, whose artistry ignited her creative passion.
As Morrison’s journey unfolded, she found herself drawn to the captivating styles of modern artists such as Ray Ellis, Edgar Payne, and Erin Hanson. Their bold interpretations of nature and light resonated deeply with her evolving artistic vision. Currently, Lisa resides in the vibrant city of Ottawa, Ontario, where she continues to draw inspiration from her surroundings and weave her unique artistic narrative onto canvas.
