After a 40-year career in advertising and design, Lori Anne McKague now brings that depth of visual experience to her art practice. Based in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, she creates vibrant, pattern-rich work informed by travel, nature, and the intuitive possibilities of a single line or shape.

Working in a process guided by curiosity and experimentation, she develops layered compositions through colour, repetition and movement. Influenced by memories of Sicilian markets, Ionian waters, and the wildflowers surrounding her mountain studio, her work balances structure and spontaneity in compositions that feel both contemporary and contemplative.

In addition to original artwork, Lori Anne has expanded her practice into surface pattern design, creating artwork-based clothing, accessories, home goods, jigsaw puzzles, and other products.
