I was born a painter. From a very young age I knew that but became socialized into sports and athletics. I competed at a national level in Taekwondo, own a gym and even creating my own fitness equipment, the Lebert Equalizers™ that are used around the world. I was a closet artist most of my life but as I got older I embraced my passion and my true love, painting.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I have been called a “colourist” by other artists and my style is most often described as energetic, colourful, prolific and eclectic. If there is one consistent thing about my style it’s that I don’t really have one. I just love to explore; I “hear” colours, “feel” movement and I love to take risks with my work. Painting is where I feel the energy (and love) of the universe and where I feel most happy and my absolute favourite thing is to see my work get out there into the world for others to enjoy.
